There are some haters out there, to be sure, but for the most part we've enjoyed the Princess line of fragrances from Vera Wang. The original is still a favorite after all this time, and Rock Princess is playful and cute. (Though don't get us started on Flower Princess. That didn't sit right with our olfactory nerves AT ALL somehow.) So we were jazzed to try the new flanker, Glam Princess ($72 for the big bottle). Fortunately, it's nice! The fruity top notes add up to something sort of melony, but don't let that scare you off if you're not into melon smells. We're not either, and this was pleasant to our spoiled nostrils. And the wood/marshmallow base? So gentle and sweet! On the whole it's quite light, though, so it might be better for warm weather than for cold. And we have no idea what to make of the Hannah Montana-style pink stars all over the packaging. The bottle is far too loud when compared to its contents.
Note: This stuff seems to be selling out FAST everywhere. Move quick if you're interested.
