Yes, we're totally spoiled. No, we probably shouldn't be complaining. But when you live in Hawaii 24/7/365, your relative definition of "heat" changes from ninety degrees in June to seventy-five degrees in April. The humidity on top of a slight five degree change in temperature has us complaining. It is hot as snot outside, y'all. And our skin still needs the same hydration that our body does in this goshforsaken heat. So instead of layering on heavy lotions and thick creams, we pull out the deliciously light Le Couvent des Minimes Hydrating Verbena & Lemon Body Sorbet ($30). And we aren't pulling it out of our medicine cabinets either. We pull the cool, soothing stuff right off the refrigerator door for sweet heat relief. And when we pair it with a Blue Hawaiian, we are chilled from the inside out, ready to keep things cool for the rest of the day.
