Personal Shopper x2: Luggage To Go for Christine and Vidya

Christine writes: My boyfriend and I are about to embark on a semi-long distance relationship (Philadelphia to Baltimore)...I am looking for a cute weekender large tote style bag or even a duffle. Most of the weekenders I keep finding look super masculine or are beautiful but way out of my price range. I am a graduate student, so my budget is limited, but my taste unfortunately is not. Please help me find a simple, classic (read solids only - no prints) weekender bag for $100ish. Thanks for your help!!

I am a frequent traveller and would love your help! I hop on a plane to either Europe or Asia at least once a month, not to mention my weekly trips between NYC (home of husband and pup) and law school a few hours away. I have recently realized that I am in desperate need of a functional and super-stylish carry-on bag for my globe-trotting adventures. Ideally, I'd like something that is:1) lightweight, 2) very roomy, with at least a few different interior and exterior compartments to hold things like my travel wallet, laptop and other wireless devices, etc., 3) preferably shoulder/tote-style, 4) durable and able to withstand 100,000 miles of travel a year, 5) preferably under $200, but I'd go up to $300 for something really special! As for style, I'm a flashy girl so I'd love a statement piece, either in a beautiful print or with some hardware or other interesting details. Nothing boring or too standard please, and bright colors are very welcome!

Around $100:
1. LeSportsac Large Weekender ($108)
2. Olympia Luggage Blossom 21 Inch Expandable Hard Case Carry-On Bag ($72 on sale)
3. Koko Roller Weekend Getaway Bag ($95)

$200 plus:
1. DwellStudio Dots Chocolate Weekender ($195)
2. Diane von Furstenberg On the Go Collection 21" Carry-on Upright ($210)
3. Armani Jeans Silver Stud Bowling Bag ($223)

Solids:
1. ZGALLERIE Weekender Bag ($80)
2. Picnic at Ascot Weekender Travel Duffel ($67)
3. Bueno Croc Trim Weekender ($45)

The Essential Toiletry Organizer That is Ready At a Moment's Notice:
a. Reisenthel Large Suspended Toiletry Bag ($30)
b. Two Lumps of Sugar Hanging Travel Case ($20)
c. Hadaki Hanging Roll Up Make Up Pod ($30)
d. Think Tank Cable Management 10 ($17) Your cables need organization love too.

I think my comment is aimed toward Christine but here goes!

I do the semi-long distance from Philly to Manhattan and I just bought this London Fog Rolling Duffel Bag ($88 on Sale) a few months ago and I love it!

Mine is a lighter color and I got it from o.co but it's the same bag. I get compliments all the time waiting around for the Bolt Bus - I wish you the same luck!
