Says Jolene: "My adult brother is really in to wolves and has amassed a collection of wolf t-shirts. The problem is all wolf apparel looks about the same - black or gray t shirt with a howling wolf on the front. Most of these shirts come off slightly red-neck or cowboy. I want to "jazz" him up a bit but can't find anything suitable. All I want is a classier type of shirt that still incorporates wolves. And believe it or not, I know such a thing exists because I bought him a Henley type shirt about 5 years ago and he wore it to death! Any help?"
This is quite possibly the best personal shopper request that we have ever received. Thank you, Jolene, wherever you are.
Our first thought was that you might be able to find some decent items in the sports-fan category. This 1) Minnesota Timberwolves tee ($18), for example, is reasonably dignified, and the team shop has other designs if this one doesn't satisfy. And if he happens to like Doctor Who, there's this 2) Bad Wolf hoodie ($55).
If giving him either of those would be like giving Linus a towel (JUST NOT THE SAME), there are more straightforwardly wolfish things out there. This 3) polo with a grey wolf embroidered on it ($44) is available in four colors, so he might want to add several to his wardrobe. The 4) Sheep in Wolf's Clothing tee ($18) features an ambiguous design that's a little more suggestive than the average noble-howling-forest-beast, and unless your brother has something against Ontario-based environmental organization Earthroots, their 5) minimalist wolf-sketch tee ($23) seems very wearable.
We don't know if your brother's the belt buckle type, but since the odds seemed good, we've included this 6) wolf belt buckle ($19) - the wolf in this case has a distinctly robotic look.
Of course, it just wouldn't be Outblush if we didn't poke a little fun, so we're also throwing in this 7) Big Bad Wolf bonnet and tail set ($18). Just because. (The look on the model's face is enough to brighten your whole week.)
AwoOOOoo, Jolene! Let us know how we did!
