Britt writes: "Outblush, I need you! You guys helped me out last year by finding me some tops to go with my great hunter-green trousers. And now I am hoping that you will extend your awesomeness my way once again. I am getting married in October (yay!) and I have found the dress (yay!) - but finding shoes to go with it is worse than pulling teeth, worse than choosing a photographer, worse than signing the catering check. Nothing seems to work. My dress is delicate with lots of organza and flowing details and I'm dying to find a shoe that works with it. Something that's not heavy, that is delicate and soft.
The catch is that I'm 5'10" and they HAVE to be flats or I'm going to tower over my groom on our wedding day! And since I have such humongous feet, that "thong" style looks awful on me. Possible colors include white, yellow, green, or silver, and I'd like to keep it under $100, especially if they're very bridal and I won't wear them much after the event. Thanks in advance!"
As a six-foot-tall lady with supersized feet myself, I feel your pain... in my knees, back, and head. Heels do a number on all three for me. Luckily, rocking flat styles doesn't have to mean giving up a delicate, feminine look. I've picked out a range of options for you that should work beautifully with your dress, from strappy sandals to elegant pleated flats.
1. ASOS FLORENCE Leather Flat Sandals ($25)
2. Cole Haan Kaylin Flat Sandal ($50)
3. Touch Ups Shirley Pump ($58)
4. Nine West Aloha Flat ($60)
5. Deena & Ozzy Double-Strap Sandal ($29)
6. Pink Tropical Bridal Shoe in Ivory ($80)
7. Sweet Pleated Satin Flat Bridal Shoes ($72)
8. Pleated Satin Ballet Flat ($30)

Crazy Jane here: I'm a New England girl with couture tastes and a Salvation Army budget who usually ends up wearing flannel. My shopping forte: finding the impossible dream. Throw your tough stuff at me and let me go bloodhound on it. When not playing on Outblush, I'm probably yelling at my cats, getting a backrub from my hot teacher husband, or trying to turn anything animal, vegetable, or mineral I can get my hands on into booze.
