Therese writes: Help! I need a dress to wear to my friend's wedding. I thought I found the right dress and ordered it online. What I love about the dress was that it was colorful, playful, able to be dressed up or down, and had a waist to it. I was pretty certain it was the right dress and stopped looking for another one for the week it took for it to arrive. I tried it on only to find it gave me weird thigh-wings! And the slit was wayyyyyyyyy to high! I am 5'10" and find it hard to find a dress for my frame. I want my dress to be around knee length. I want a dress that I could potentially wear to work (jeans are okay at my office. I just don't want the dress to scream "party!"). But most importantly, I need something to wear to this wedding!
Hi Therese, I'm a tall girl myself and can sympathize with how easy a cute dress can become super hoochie on a leggy gal. I found a nice selection of frocks that will look great at a wedding with heels and fancy accessories, but can also be dressed down for work. Have fun at your friend's wedding!
