Personal Shopper: The Do It All Foundation for Elizabeth
Elizabeth writes: I've been searching and searching for the perfect face "lift" and can never find this: a face moisturizer, with spf, tint and a shimmer. I dislike caking on makeup - and prefer not to, though every moisturizer I've tried is either too light or too heavy - not enough spf and no tint or too much tint but no shimmer etc ect etc....

Magzilla here: When I'm not busy eating my way to the bottom of a ginger candy bag, I'm tweezing my eyebrows. I prefer the hard core body modification scene but can also appreciate a ruffle or bow when I see one. Beauty and barrels of maternity/kid crap are my specialties. When you need help finding the right shade of eyeliner to match that new shade of "I haven't slept in days" tint your skin gets after a baby or four, call on me. Loudly.

I use a shimmery primer (Laura Geller Spackle in Champagne) and then Aveeno's Positively Radiant tinted moisturizer (with spf 30). It feels light, is barely shimmery, provides a little bit of coverage, and lasts all day.

The Hourglass tinted moisturizer is exactly what you're looking for! Its pricey ($55) but perfect.

I've just started using Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20. I'm a fan but I'm not sure if you're going to get enough shimmer from this product. I use the moisturizer and then apply a primer. My skin is so happy right now! Just remember to apply in the right order. It's moisturizer first and primer second!
