Naomi wrote,"Hello! Love your blog! Would you be so kind to help me find an affordable (less than $70) dress for a Carnival cruise formal/semi-formal dinner night? I'm about a size 6/8 with a bit of a tummy so I don't want anything that is too tight (so I can still gorge on the delicious food), nor anything that is too frumpy. I also want it to pack easily so anything that wrinkles easily is out of the question. Hope you can help! Naomi"
Aw, lucky you, Naomi! That sounds like so much fun! Luckily, a great crop of semi-formal cocktail & evening dresses are currently on sale, thanks to wedding season, so you've got some great options. We recommend packing your evening dress in a Travel Space Bag ($15 for set of 2) to reduce wrinkles, then, once you arrive on ship, hang your dress up in the bathroom: the steam from your shower will help relax the wrinkles. The on-board concierge should be able to help you get any remaining crinkles out.
