Heather writes: "On a whim and a prayer, I recently put henna in my medium blonde hair, and while I've had my hair professionally highlighted several times, this is the first time I've actually completely altered the color! It's now a light copper red and I love it! I've been wanting to switch up my everyday makeup colors to better enhance my new hair shade, but I'm not sure what color combinations to try out. I'm blue-eyed and ridiculously fair-skinned and am looking for an easy, natural enhancement to my new redheadedness. General colors and reliable brand recommendations are greatly appreciated!"
As a fellow fair-skinned redhead, I'd like to officially welcome you to the wonderful world of gingers! You're going to love it here, minus the lame redheaded stepchild jokes and inability to wear most shades of pink. Anyway, makeup: when it comes to eyeshadow, it's going to be easy to default to browns and taupes because they will pretty much all look fantastic on you. For something different, try reaching for shades of purple and shimmery coppers - both look great with red hair, and they'll really make your eyes pop. Since black mascara can look harsh on light eyelashes, try using a really dark brown instead (Maybelline's classic Great Lash in Dark Brown really can't be beat). Add some peach gloss to your lips and a sheer blush to your cheeks, and you're good to go!

Red here: As a fair-skinned ginger, I'm kind of an expert when it comes to sunscreen, fake tan, and quoting Anne of Green Gables. I'll try anything once, so if you're looking for a guinea pig to test out a beauty product before you buy it, I'm your girl. I have an entire cabinet full of various hair oils, and I can't visit a drug store without buying at least two tubes of lip gloss. Look for me on a future episode of Hoarders: The Beauty Edition.
