I work as a graduate research assistant for the Human Performance- Exercise Physiology lab for my University. I will also be teaching this fall for the first time! I need something sporty, classy, and fabulous to wear! I would love your help! I'm super tall 5'11, size 6-8 with broad shoulders and shockingly long arms. The people that I teach and research are exercising at high levels. I need clothes that can look appropriate for the setting, sporty.....yet look like a researcher and a teacher! I've been having the hardest time figuring out what that should look like! I have a million exercise clothes, I think I need something that looks professional and sporty..... I start school in 2 weeks, and it would be so wonderful if you had time to get to my request!"
Monique, think business casual here: trousers & khakis, blazers in lightweight fabrics like twill and cotton, and casual blouses with a twist. Pair 'em with flats or oxfords, and you'll be comfortable all day long. Good luck with school!
