Brooke writes: Hi Outblush: I know you're probably already inundated with Halloween requests since it's already less than a month away. And I know you've gotten lots of wedding dress requests in the past that you're probably très sick of by now, but my problem sort of combines the two. A very good friend of mine is getting married on Halloween weekend in New Orleans and the party after the reception will take place in the throes of NOLA Halloween celebrations. I'm in desperate need of a dress that also be used a costume (with minor adjustments or accessories). The wedding is black tie, so I'm looking for a cocktail dress of modest length. If you guys have any ideas I'm all ears.
A Halloween wedding in New Orleans sounds like one hell of a time. Hope I found some dresses/costume starters that you can work with. Raid your friends' costume boxes for accessories - you're sure to find some awesome stuff to fab out your ensemble gratis. Also - have a blast with makeup. Do your normal look for the wedding and then you can totally change it up for your All Hallows romp through the Big Easy.
