Personal Shopper: Meggan from Keyhole Photo helps Rebecca with her wedding photographer outfit

Rebecca writes: "Ok, you lovely Outblush Divas!! I need help. I am attending a ball in February, but not as a guest. I am the photographer. This is a formal ball, but obviously I cannot wear a ball gown, as I won't be able to move as well as needed. What should I wear???? A little about me: I am 5'5", size 14. I am extremely girly, I love ruffles and bows and the color purple is my favorite, all shades!! I am open to anything at all EXCEPT sleeveless outfits. I love dresses, skirts and pants. You name it, I will wear it! I would love to be able to wear my high heeled boots as it will be chilly out and they are so comfy, but I will also consider heels. I very much love the look of the Zara Peep-toe with Flower that you posted a few days ago. And if you found me an outfit to go with these killer heels, I would have no choice but to buy them tout de suite! Find me something awesome gals!!! Thanks!! Rebecca"

Howdy Rebecca! I'm Meggan from Keyhole Photo. I'm no fashion expert, but I am an expert photographer, and I've been in your shoes many many many times, so I thought I'd give you a little advice on how I would dress, and then let the Outblush ladies do the dirty work. If you aren't a guest, but are instead the event photographer, the key is to look elegant and understated, while making it clear that you are there to work. I'd suggest either your nicest black dress pants with a beautiful dark purple blouse, or a dark knee-length dress with plenty of room to move, paired with black leggings - you'll definitely want to be able to bend and kneel without becoming the evening's entertainment. As far as shoes go, it sounds like the high-heeled boots would be perfect. It can be really hard to find stylish shoes that are comfortable, and it can be harder to keep working when your feet are about to commit suicide, so I say go with a something already broken in.

From the Outblush gang: As you dress for the part, don't forget to put on your best professional attitude: Arrive early, come prepared, and treat your client as though the world revolves around him or her. And thanks again, Meggan! Love your blogs!
