Aileen writes: Could you help me find clothes to wear? I am five months pregnant and I'm underwhelmed by maternity tops. Even though I've preferred A-line as well as empire waists before I started to show, I just don't want to feel fat in a dress. I'm looking for skirts and tees that don't emphasize the baby bump (like this).
Come on Aileen! You're having a baby! This is only the beginning of your clothing frustration as a future Mommy, and I, Rachel H. am here to assist you. My advice to downplay that bump: Black is your friend. Your boobs are your friends. Statement necklaces are your best friends. Wear shirts that are fitted through the shoulders and bust and then make a valiant effort to go straight down over the belly. Because you don't want to blow tons of cash on clothes you'll only wear for a few months, convertible pieces like #8 are great. Good luck!

I'd like to add that I have actually been pregnant and am not just making stuff up. I totally relied on my boobs and statement necklaces to distract from my "prankles" when I was with child.

I'm not pregnant and I rely on my boobs all the time.

These are great maternity picks. I am currently pregnant with twins and I agree with the boobs and necklace advice as well!
