Melissa H. wrote, "Dear Outblush, I'm travelling to London and Paris in a couple weeks. The last thing I want to do is look like a tacky tourist, so I am hoping you could help me look cute in pictures while staying comfortable on the go. Could you suggest a few pieces that would help me look indigenous while offering the flexibility of all-day wear and miles of walking? If you could find anything that would suit a petite frame, even better! Thanks in advance!"
Melissa, you lucky duck, you! So far as fashion goes, a lot of the same things that are currently trendy Stateside will work equally well in Europe: cropped lighter-wash jeans, belted shorts, flowy tank tops & tunics with interesting details, etc. You want pieces that are made from lightweight fabrics that don't wrinkle a lot, since the temperatures will be in the 70's and 80's. And, and, Cole Haan has expanded his popular Nike Air line of shoes from work-appropriate pumps into trendy flats and gladiator sandals, so you can walk for miles and still look cute. Have an awesome trip!

Hope the trip isn't in August! Much of Europe goes on vacation in August, and Paris, at least, will be a ghost town with limited restaurants, shopping, etc!

Dear Outblush,
Thanks for the amazing suggestions. #3 is my personal favorite, and your cute flat/sandals recommendations will come in super-useful.
Space-geek, deserted it will be.. but probably better for me that the shopping and food is limited! :)
