I love that leopard print is going to be a very big trend for this fall. I love it and can't get enough! However, I'm pregnant with my first child (due in January!) and have been having a hard time finding a leopard print maternity dress. Just because I'm going to be a mom doesn't mean I want to stick with solid colored dresses or not follow trends. I was a size 14-16 pre-pregnancy, but I'm not sure if that falls into the plus size category or not. I'd love to wear said leopard print dress to my baby shower in a few months. I'd like to stay under $120 if possible (baby stuff isn't cheap!). I'd love to see what you come up with! Thanks in advance! Naya"
Wow, Naya, this was nigh-on impossible. There were only a few leopard print maternity dresses out there, most on summer clearance and only available in a size 2 (who stays a size TWO when they're PREGNANT, anyways?). But, I did manage to find a few pieces - some dresses (one zebra print), some tops, and one plus-sized dress that you could order up a size or few to make room for the belly, then have the bust/shoulders tailored down.
1 - Torrid Brown Leopard Diamond Hem Dress ($40 on sale: not technically a maternity dress but you could order up a couple sizes to accommodate the belly, then have it tailored to fit)
2 - ASOS Maternity Leopard Printed Top ($30)
3 - Sanctuary Sleeveless Scoop Neck Pocket Tee Maternity Tank Top ($45 on sale)
5 - Nicole Michelle Maternity Leopard Burnout Dress ($259 - expensive, but pretty much the only *true* leopard print maternity dress I could find!)
6 - Lavish by Heidi Klum Sleeveless Empire Seam Maternity Maxi Dress - $100 on sale)
