Personal Shopper: In-between Winter Boots for Rachel
Rachel writes: Hey awesome Outblush people! I'm a Midwest girl who is very aware that snow/slush/yuck is right around the corner. I get it that sometimes the winter situation calls for super tough, who-cares-what-they-look-like, uber-boots, and sometimes I need to bring my fancy shoes with me to put on inside, but I'm stumped about boots for the in-between times! Like when I want to go for a walk and keep my feet dry but end up in a cute little restaurant. Or need to run out to get groceries but don't want to tromp around in my heavy-duty boots. Any chance you can help me find reasonably priced snow boots that will keep my feet warm and dry but also look good with a pair of jeans?
Hello Rachel! I live in Boston and am very familiar with the cold and slushy mess the city streets become from December to March so I sympathize with your plight. Sometimes you just don't want to trudge around in heavy duty shitkickers. I've found some cuter options that still offer some protection from the elements (they're all waterproof), would look fab with a pair of jeans, and are easy to slip on and walk in.
