Personal Shopper: Elissa Swooning for Sweater Skirts

Elissa writes: "Hi, Outblush ladies! First business, you are amazing! I love the blog and the stuff you are trying to convince me to buy (darn it). Now onto more shopping temptations...I want a sweater skirt. Is that weird? I just think they look so cozy and cute, and I love to wear tights in the winter with cute skirts. This one is ok, but I want a cuter, winter-y print. I am about a size medium/10, and I'm hoping to spend less than $40. I want to wear it all fall and winter, and I love color, but neutrals allow for fun colored tights as well. I'm easy to please. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Thank you!"

This is quite possibly a first for us. Sweater skirts. Apologies for there not being a better color variation. But I was drawn to your idea of pairing these with fun tights, so run with that. Match up some hunter tights to a deep green bib necklace and you'll be set.

1. Mini Pattern Sweater Skirt ($21)
2. MANGO Knit Mini-Skirt ($40)
3. Max Studio Melange Stripe Sweater Skirt ($40)
4. Victoria's Secret Cable-knit Midi Skirt ($50)

atribution.jpgMagzilla here: When I'm not busy eating my way to the bottom of a ginger candy bag, I'm tweezing my eyebrows. I prefer the hard-core body modification scene but can also appreciate a ruffle or bow when I see one. Beauty and barrels of maternity/kid crap are my specialties. When you need help finding the right shade of eyeliner to match that new shade of "I haven't slept in days" tint your skin gets after a baby or four, call on me. Loudly.
