Personal Shopper: Dresses for the Short-n-Busty
We've gotten a lot of requests for cute dresses for y'all that are petite and well-endowed. This can be a difficult combo, we know, but here are a few general pointers. Go for either ankle-length or knee length or higher, as anything in between will make you look shorter. (A mini dress on a tall woman might be a perfect length for you!) Wrap styles and v-necks are great for both elongating your figure and minimizing the bust, since they draw the eye up-and-down. Occasionally, one-shoulder styles or portrait necks (square) will work, but round necklines just make everything look, well, rounder. Choose a few interesting details or accessories, instead of visually overloading your look. And, of course, we can't overemphasize the importance of a good fitting bra or a tailor that you trust implicitly!
