Personal Shopper: Cute, Supportive Shoes for Rachel G

Rachel G. wrote, "I have insane foot issues and I get yelled at on a monthly basis by my podiatrist to wear supportive shoes (as opposed to ballet flats, sandals, etc). Can you help me find cute, supportive shoes that don't look overly orthopedic? Thanks!"

Janetor here: Rachel, thankfully, supportive shoes have come a long way. Brands like Hush Puppies, Naturalizer, Born, and Birkenstock offer foot-healthy-but-still-stylish options. I focused on finding you some cute flats, as I don't want to get yelled at by your doc for recommending heels! :) However, they do offer heels, oxfords, and the like, just FYI...

If any of you readers have other supportive shoe brand recommendations, let us know in the comments!

1 - Born Clever Flats ($85, in 5 colors)

2 - Hush Puppies Fermata Loafers ($115, in 7 colors)

3 - Born Kira Flats ($85, in 2 colors)

4 - Naturalizer Naya Naya Fowler Flats ($55 on sale)

5 - Naturalizer Paige Flats ($30 on sale, in 5 colors)

6 - Born Adele Flats ($85, in 7 colors)

You can also try the brand 'Me Too' - i have a pair of flats from them that are a safe haven for after several days of heal wearing ... they are cushy and amazing! They can be hit or miss with the styling but always a good quality and comfortable.

I love these picks! Pefect for me as I am always running around at work. I have also had a lot of luck with Cole Haan Air. There are a bunch of choices and they are a little pricey but totally worth it.

I agre with Cole Haan Air shoes and also Taryn Rose shoes (by orthopedist turned shoe designer) are great for this!

Seconding the recommendation for Born shoes - so comfy and cute, and they hold up really well. I'm wearing a pair of their sandals right now! Even their heels are comfy enough to run around in all day.

Naots are good too, and Think! shoes

I'm a big believer in Earth shoes. They have a negative heel that takes a little getting used to, but they're the most comfy shoes I own.

The personal loans seem to be useful for people, which would like to ground their business. In fact, that is easy to get a collateral loan.
