Personal Shopper: Complementing Katie's New Skirt

Dear Outblush, I have written to you a few times now and you've been so helpful! I'm stumped once again and need more help! I bought this beyond adorable skirt but I don't have a top to wear with it. Or shoes for that matter. I'd love some ideas! I'm a pretty traditional dresser, I don't get too fancy. I'm open to different colors and styles, maybe a few options that are work appropriate. I'd like to keep the total for a top and shoes around $100. Thanks so much and I canNOT wait to see what you have in store for me :)

Girl, that skirt is cute! Excellent purchase. Though the skirt does have a bold pattern, the palette is neutral, so you should feel comfortable accenting it with a bit of color. For tops, I picked some simple, more fitted options, may of which are available in additional colors. Stay away from anything too loose or boxy - because the skirt has volume, you don't want to add too much on top.
Shoes could also go in a lot of directions. I included a basic navy flat that will always work with the skirt no matter what you're wearing on top, but there's also some color thrown into the mix.

1. Gap Solid Tucked Shirt ($35 on sale)
2. Banana Republic Dana Ruffled Top ($60 on sale)
3. Old Navy Chiffon Tie Yoke Top ($25)
4. Stem Prep V-Neck Tee ($28)

5. Lucky Brand Erla Flats ($59)
6.Qupid Athena ($29)
7. Old Navy Cap-Toe Ballet Flats ($23)
8. Blowfish Court ($49)

If I'm not shopping or working out, I'm planning a social gathering of some sort, ranging from a Big Lebowski Bash, Stitch 'n' Bitch, or an Evening of Cocktails and Crudité. On a completely different topic...the link listed for #8 is the same as #7. The correct link is below.
