Personal Shopper: Caitlin's Wedding Guest Outfit
Caitlin writes: ... the longest, most detailed Personal Shopper request we've ever seen. Basically, Caitlin needs an outfit for a wedding in California, and she needs a suit for her boyfriend. She's been working out like a boss and she wants to show off that hot bod of hers.
Caitlin, I'm Found of You, and there's only so much I can do from afar. Your man sounds like he needs a custom suit to fit his unique shape. My beloved coworker Robin suggested you check out indochino.com to get that done. I love your idea of a charcoal colored suit for him, and you in purple or green, which you said you liked. If you want to do a vest or bow tie, don't have him match you exactly. This is not senior prom. I'd suggest various shades of grey, forest, or deep plum. If he's manly and classic, just put him in a suit, white shirt, and a tie in shades of grey.
