Rachael Q writes, "I will be starting a new job in mid-April, that I am really excited about. I will be working on luxury train. Uniform is provided (black pants, and white blouse), but we must provide our own shoes. The requirements are black, lace up shoes with a maximum 1/2" heel. I'm have trouble finding something cute and pretty and not industrial or school girl looking. No patent leather as it will damage to easily while working in and around trains. Can you help?"
Hi Rachael! Layla here, and totally feeling your frustration! I waitressed my way through college and while Shoes for Crews are efficient, they're definitely at the bottom of the list when it comes to fashion! I think your best bet will be to invest in a few good pairs of supportive insoles and wear something a little cuter than your average black work shoe!
