I travel a lot for work, and it's often difficult to travel lightly (read: I have an iPad, a Kindle, a digital camera, and a laptop to lug around, plus all their related chargers). Can you recommend a super-roomy, comfortable-yet chic travel bag that I can carry onto the plane that will hold all my work-related items, keep them organized (I'm a hyper-organized person and want things in their place), and keep my back and shoulders from breaking into pieces?? Since I often need to bring a carry-on with my clothes as well, a rolling suitcase-style bag to use as a purse/briefcase is really not practical. I need something that can easily make the transition from plane to office and not make me look like a traveling salesman. I hope this bag is something I can use from day to day during my regular commute as well. While I love leather, I'm open to any suggestions you have! As for colors, neutrals are best - black, brown, red are my preferences."
Charleen, we hear ya! We like to try to max our luggage allowance to the full, so when we get to take a carry-on suitcase PLUS one personal item, we're all about "bigger is better." For bags without interior organization, we recommend getting inserts (something like this) to help keep your stuff in its place.
