hoping y'all could help with. I am 25 and I wear a 14-16 in pants and dresses. I am a student and will be starting student teaching soon and I have no idea what to wear. I have been in classrooms a few times before and was each time mistaken for a student in a jr high school! I need an outfit that I could wear all day in the class room and look my age, not too young and not old either. Wouldn't mind some pieces that could be used in other ways as I am on a student's budget. I think that $150 would be my max budget for an outfit. I really like more classic or vintage pieces that are loose around the hips, that's where I carry my weight mostly. I will be going into classroom in late August early September so I have a while just want to get a jump on things! Hope you can help! Thanks - Whitney"
Dearest Whitney! Carlota here and I'd love to help you shop for age appropriate apparel that will help you fit in in your classroom, but also stand out as the teacher. I picked a few staples such as black pants, grey pants, khakis, a wrap dress and some pretty blouses and open cardigans. These are great transition pieces that you can work in with your current wardrobe and then build upon. Hope you like our picks for you...and good luck! xoxo
