Our favorite blogger, MODG writes, "Ning Hao bitches, I need some help from the best online shoppers in the 'nets. I'm OVAH diaper bags. I'm ready to combine my purse and diaper bag into one fantastical bag. I'm going to get one of those purse organizers to make it more functional because I want an actual adult bag without the word "diaper" in front of it. Here's the kicker...we cloth diaper. Cloth diapers are HUGE. So at any time I'm carrying around 2 of those bad boys, a spare baby outfit, tupperware of baby foods, drink, paci's, wipes, changing pad, an old plum and some fermented grapes. So needless to say I need a big bag. But I don't want it to be dumb. I'm still a moderate hippie, so no LV carryalls. HELP a sister."
Talk about pressure! I volunteered to tackle your request and then remembered that my fetus is still a-cookin' so my mom cred is hovering at nil. But I lurk-read your blog, so I think I've got some MODG style clues to work from. A few of these bags have nothing whatsoever to do with babies and diapers and a few are baby-diaper types. But I betchya you can't tell which is which unless you click the link and read the deets on webpage! Oh, and none of them will damage your hippie sensibilities whatsoever! Here's hoping one of them passes the MODG test!
1 - Ju Ju Be Behave Totebag ($185): Animal free, earth friendly, machine washable material in lotsa urban-y dark colors.
2 - Kailo Chic Cabin Handbag ($70): You'll need that purse organizer for this one, but it's plenty big for bulky cloth diapers and fermented grapes.
3 - Orla Kiely Oval Stem Print Classic Shoulder Bag ($195): The trim is leather, but sometimes you gotta live a little, you know?
4 - ASOS Faux Croc Tuck Lock Day Bag ($63): Stylish and sexy, but you'd have to really commit to blue.
5 - OiOi Safari Medallion Slouch Tote ($160): All those smart mommas on every baby forum ever have nothing negative to say about OiOi bags. Plus it's organic cotton with a water-resistant finish.
6 - Timi and Leslie Annette Convertible Bag ($140): This sucker looks like a slouchy hobo purse, but still attaches to your stroller with ease.
7 - Vanessa Boulton Feather Hobo Bag ($100): Totally chic on the outside, but ready for Tupperware full of drool-covered cheerios in the inside.
