Personal Shopper: A Med School Formal Dress for Allyson

Allyson writes: Hi editors! I'm mildly obsessed with the Personal Shopper feature and was wondering if you could help a sister out. :) My med school formal is on December 10th. It's on a boat (mothaf-- ahem.) However, the deck is closed, so I don't think I need to worry about protecting myself from the cold December air. I'm looking for a cocktail dress more on the dressier side of things, preferably knee-length. I'm a big fan of vintage or vintage-inspired fashion, though I also wouldn't be averse to something shiny or sparkly. I'm pale with dark brown hair, 5'6"-ish, with a short waist and long legs and wide-ish hips. I don't like anything bodycon or drop-waist - basically, anything that brings attention to my stomach. Med school junk food and stress-eating have not been kind to my gut. I'm a size 6-ish, though depending on the brand I can be a 4 or an 8. Under $100 would be optimal, but if it's a little over that, I won't mind.

Hi and thank you so much -- these are really adorable! I was rooting for #6 but it looks like there are only XS left. Barring that, it's a toss-up between 1 and 5! Now all I have left to worry about are the cranial nerves... ;)
