Personal Shopper: A Fun 2011 Planner for Allison

Allison M writes, "It's that time of the year again: I need a new planner. Yes, I know there are these nifty little things called smartphones, but I can't seem to remember anything unless I use a pen and put it on paper. The thing is, I am the pickiest planner person and I get bored with one after a year, so my planner search is an annual event. I need both a monthly view and a weekly view, but not hour-by-hour -- my life is not THAT scheduled! And something colorful and pretty, but not too feminine. Not too small, but it needs to fit into a purse. And I don't want to spend more than $40 on it. Please help!"

Hey Allison! Layla here - I'm alllll about being organized and have myself been coveting a few planners for the 2011 season. I've picked out a few for you to consider. They're all small notebook sized for easy, on-the-go access to your schedule. Plus they should all have weekly and/or monthly views with lots of writing space to hold up on even your busiest of days!

1 - Sarah Pinto 2011 Weekly Planner ($20) This planner comes in a few patterns, all super cute!
2 - Vera Bradley 2011 Agenda ($25) Also in a few different patterns!
3 - It's a Date 2011 Planner ($22)
4 - Kate Spade 2011 Spiral Desktop Calendar ($20)
5 - Pocketo Clover Planner ($30)
6 - Day Runner 13-Month Weekly/Monthly Planner ($20)
7 - Silver Lining 2011 Weekly Planner & Engagement Calendar ($7) This one is a little more mini than the others.

I have a Lilly Pulitzer planner, and it sounds like it's exactly what Allison is looking for. Add it to the list, Outblush! It's fun, flirty, easy to organize, and it comes with stickers and tongue twisters (but not in an annoying, "i'm-still-in-high-school" kind of way).

I love the Uncalendar:

You should also take a look at the ecosystem notebooks. They're environmentally friendly and gorgeous and around fifteen dollars each!!

This is all so helpful!

Thanks Layla and all who have posted other options -- how will I ever decide?!?
