Jill wrote, "Hi~ I always love your personal shopper features and never thought I would have anything to request. Now I do! I am totally obsessed with the dress that Kristen Cavallari wore to the Hills finale...I was thinking that I would LOVE to wear something like that for NYE this year (thinking ahead for once!) instead of the typical black sparkly things we all seem to lean towards. The things I love most about it, in order, are: the one shoulder, the color, the figure-flattering material. That's why I'm having such a hard time. I can't seem to find a dress with all of those elements! I either find a one shoulder dress in silver, or a stunning champagne number with 2 straps, or it's all satin etc...I am psyched that you offer this service b/c how else will I ever find what I'm looking for?? Pick me! Pick me! A longtime Outblush fan :) ~Jill"
Jill, that dress was from Zahair Murad's Spring 2010 collection, and costs $4700 retail.... OUCH! We've heard tell you can rent it for around $200 at Rent the Runway, but if you don't want to do that, here are the six closest frocks we could find. Hope you like 'em - let us know!
1. Dave & Johnny Dynamic Black Cocktail Dress ($187)
2. Bebe Satin Asymmetric Drape Dress (on backorder)
3. Nicole Miller Off-the-Shoulder Dress ($279 on sale)
4. Gold for the Goddess Party Dress ($61)
5. Alice + Olivia Vanda Bandage Shift Dress ($597)
6. Nika One Shoulder Cocktail Dress ($378)
