Special Guest Post by Keyhole Photo: Vintage Camera Photo Album

Hey kids, it's time once again for a word from our resident photo-know-it-all, Meggan Haller. Meggan and her husband Jeff, the owners of Keyhole Photo, serve up gorgeous wedding and documentary photography, and recently won the 2010 Bride's Choice Awards from WeddingWire.com. Want more? Check out their blog, look for a daily dose of awesome.

Goodbye coffee table books. Welcome Anthropologie's Vintage Camera Photo Album. With an aged reproduction of a WWII-era large-format camera, it is a retro, yet logical place to store up to 36 photographs. You'll know instantly what's inside when it is stacked in a pile of books and journals. The camera on the front tells you it's for photos! And it tells your friends you are a style leader in photo storage. Take that, ugly old photo albums!

Keyhole photography really isn't all that cool! Have you seen Natalie Norton? or Torrence Photography. Now their good. Keyhole is just blah. and bad quality kinna. Cute little album though.

We happen to love Keyhole Photo, and of course, Natalie Norton & Torrence Photography are cool, too, but Keyhole are our personal faves because they happily guest post for us whenever we ask. Guess this is just a difference of opinion, Crystal, but glad you like the album. :)

Hi Crystal!

First I want to say thanks for the comment - we welcome all types of perspectives and opinions. Also, it's super nice of you to call out some of your favorite photogs. Natalie and the Torrences must be so proud!

Having said that, can I ask why - since you're someone who's studied in and works in the same arena - you would feel the need to say mean things about and tear down fellow artists? This is an honest question - I truly would like to know your motivation.

As Janetor said, Keyhole is our favorite - for many reasons. Guess true artists really do cause controversy!
