Have some candy!

We love replying to positive comments and helping y'all out with Personal Shopper posts, gift ideas, and general shopping mayhem. But... (You knew there was a but, didn't you? You smart creature, you!) There's been a lot of Negative Nelly comments lately, some downright rude, and we feel like it bums out our otherwise simpatico Outblush universe and leaves a nasty taste in everyone's mouths.

You might catch a typo or an error in a link, and that's fine - we're human, after all.You might not like every single item we choose, and that's fine, too - we've all got different styles, and we editors even disagree with one another sometimes, which is why we introduced the Agree to Disagree feature.

Sometimes, you loyal and loving readers get kinda cranky about our product picks, and that made us wonder - what could a shopping site feature that everyone on the planet would love? Candy! Rainbows! Kittens! Puppies! Rolf from The Muppets singing "It's A Wonderful World" to puppies! Here - have some!

How can anyone surfing Outblush be in a bad mood?! I wish the site updated 24/7. Puppycutenessheartattack!

That makes me sad! You guys do a great thing here and it's free for readers!!! C'mon, people. Be nice to the fine folks at Outblush. A personal fashion consultant is EXPENSIVE and I've never known another site to offer to search out a killer red dress or strappy sandals.

What are you thinking putting regular Skittles up!? Don't you know that I personally hate that candy and prefer the wildberry variety? GOD!

All kidding aside, y'all need to keep on doing what you do, just as you do. I have found so many great products via Outblush for myself and my loved ones who have tastes that don't match my own.

Ew. Really? Negative comments? Why, because you strapped them down and forced them to browse Outblush?

I think there should be a filter that catches negative words and in order to bypass it you must submit your own product pick...then we can all go at 'em [without risking our jobs]. Just sayin'.

Thanks OB chickies...LOVE what you do!

PS - Hear's a usage error for all of the brats that have nothing better to do. :)

I have been a faithful reader since the minute Outblush was formed from the Uncrate blog (which I still surf for presents for boyfriends/dads). You guys are hilarious and always pick the CUTEST merchandise to blog about. Whoever these "Debbie Downer" readers are can mosey on over to another site. Keep up the good work ladies!! (Ps-The Muppets are the cure to all the worlds' sadness!)

Eek! I totally adore Outblush, but I admit I have posted some stuff that could be interpreted in a really negative way (soccer clogs & crocs: (burn 'em all!"). I can't honestly say that I meant it to be hateful, disrespectful, offensive, negative or just plain rude - I just chose to share my opinion, too. :(

Hi all!

Thanks so much - you are totally making our collective day!

We don't mind comments on what you think about items - hence Doubtblush & Agree to Disagree & You Tell Us - and we get pretty snarky ourselves, but we don't love hearing, "ugh, you have bad taste. Outblush sucks." That's a different thing altogether.

Thanks again!

I love this site and I don't miss a single day! Some people are simply negative and it's the only thing they know. Sad but true. While I don't like everything you share, so what? THANK YOU for doing such a good job! I can't wait to see what you have next for us!

I'll admit, I'm a grammar Nazi (probably because I'm an English teacher). I should correct students only not adults. I love Outblush.

OMG the LOVE! <3 No, really, can't you all feel it in this thread? Clearly these readers are just as amazing as the peeps behind the posts (where the HECK do you find all this awesome stuff?!).

I really had no idea that people posted such stuff as Janetor mentioned. I'm sooo glad it wasn't me - my ego would have to be hospitalized for sure. So, um, how 'bout some martinis with those Skittles? I mean, this whole thing is kind of a victory, right? :D

Oh NOES! So sorry (I don't think you mean me - ms snarky herself). Srsly though - this is not only fun stuff IT'S VOLUNTARY, FOLKS! Don't read if you don't like. it's not like your parents are tying you down and forcing you to watch/read!

Good for you for sticking up for yourselves! I don't understand why some people HAVE to find something to complain about. If it's a constructive comment, voice it so others can benefit from it, or at least have something to think about. If it isn't constructive, keep your negativity to yourself.

Janetor

Exactly! We have no problems with constructive criticisms, differences of opinions, or even snarkiness, like I said earlier, but just plain meanness towards us is quite another thing.

Thank you all for the love! It's so nice! :) :) :)
