Those special Google logos have been pretty out there and obscure lately, but we were pretty excited to wake up this morning and find today's was dedicated to the 100th birthday of Mary Blair, one of our favorite artists and illustrators (who also happens to look fierce in a peasant top). Blair was responsible for conceptual art and styling for some of the most classic Disney films, but our favorite is definitely her vision of Wonderland, which is presented beautifully in this book version of Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland ($9). If you don't pick up the book, at least promise to spend a few minutes using your image search engine of choice to peruse her whimsical illustrations. Here's to you, Mary!
