In order to avoid that whole horror movie scenario where the lithe, beautiful heroine’s car battery dies in the middle of nowhere and she flags down a serial killer to help her jumpstart her car and then he takes out a butcher’s knife and and and… (Okay, stopping now, as we’ve just about peed our pants in fright.) Anyways, we’ve bought these Wagan EA2045 Self Charge Auto Jumpers with Adapters ($40) for the whole office. While your battery is still nice and charged, just plug the adapter into your cigarette lighter and charge up the jumper. Then, when you need it, the jumper will, in turn, restart your car so you can safely drive it to a mechanic. No creepy serial killers, no dead cars.
