AnnaMaria left a comment on our Personal Shopper: A dress for Anna S's baby shower post, saying: "Hope you can help. I'm looking for a new bicycle. I'm a college student and ride it everyday to class. I need something light (so I can carry it up one flight of stairs to store in my apartment). I'm looking for a commuter/urban bike of some sort, but not really looking for a road bike or beach cruiser. My budget is a typical college budget, can't spend much, so the lower the better but definitely not over $500. I also want it to look rad :) Let me know! Thanks Outblush! AnnaMaria"
Hey there, AnnaMaria! Outblush Operative Ashley R. here, fellow biker extraordinaire! I just want you to know that you're making those of us that drove to class (walking that half a mile is hard I tell ya!) look like real lame-o's now. Great job for getting your fitness on while on the way to getting your education on! Kudos! After scouring those danged internets I found a few items that are super awesome, and should meet your needs! Good luck this semester!!
Here ya go! [Let me just add this in here - I purchased a WONDERFUL Trek off of eBay for $300. It was 2 years old and retails for $800. It is light (I'm 100 pounds and can manhandle the thing) and was small enough to fit into my Versa Hatchback! Just sayin'!!] We also added a few FLIPPIN' AWESOME helmets to protect that smart noggin' of yours! Enjoy!! (One is over $500, but the handlebars are height adjustable - something you're NOT going to find on other bikes. Handlebar height can be super important to prevent back strain/pain)
