Electra Ticino 8D
At first it was the color of this Electra Ticino 8D ($830) that pulled us in. That medium purple is just not a shade you see on bikes very often. Then we noticed the hammered fenders and white leather seat and handlebars and our hearts went pitter-patter even faster. After a quick spin, we were hooked. The upright ride is comfortable, the bike is lightweight and the eight speeds mean we might actually be able to ride it up the hill to our house. Swoon.
