The KatKabin Outdoor Cat House ($100) is marketed as a stylish outdoor house for cats and as a great shelter for abandoned, wild or feral cats. We're just wondering if these feral cats will know it's for them. Will the cat ears on the house invite them in? Are cats smarter than we imagine? Maybe. So you tell us, KatKabin - for the feral cat in your life?

Marie
I actually think that's sweet - a lot of feral cats are stuck out in the cold.

It will end up full of Raccoons and skunks.

Our feral cats either stay in the barn or are killed by our dogs/coyotes, etc. If you encourage them, you'll have cross-eyed, two-toed cats running around when they inbreed.

Great idea, but you can build a similar one yourself with some basic tools.
Bowers - Perhaps you should look into TNR (trap, neuter, release). You can have farm cats for mousing that live in the community, but with spaying/neutering them all, you reduce the pet overpopulation and no inbreeding.
