This is a cute way to brighten a table for an afternoon soiree or simply to freshen up your bedside table with a pop of color. There are always tons of cute vintage teacup and saucers at your local thrift stores. Usually, you can find them for .50 - $1.00. The first time we tried putting flowers in one to use it as a vase the flowers kept falling out onto the table and making a huge mess - then we had an AH'HA moment!
Supplies: Vintage tea cup and saucer, glue gun, Floral Frog, flowers.
Take your teacup and place a little glue in the very center of the bottom of the cup. Place your Floral Frog ($4) onto the glue and wait until cool. Once cool, check to make sure your frog is secure and then start adding your flowers. The spike on the frog will hold your flower stems nice and steady in their correct place. Once finished with your design, add some water in the cup and then place on the saucer. Voila' - instant, cheap, cute arrangement in under an hour.

Are the tea cups re-usable? Considering th glue & all. Or does it just wash right out? Fabulous idea, great for Teachers & Grandmas.
One Ring to Rule Them All
I think it depends on the type of glue you use and the fragility of your cup. You could try it without the glue first to see how well the Floral Frog holds. Or you could use some strong tape or rubber cement that you can take off easily. Let us know how it goes!
