Delightful indie band Wye Oak has returned with a new album, Shriek ($11). This time around, the band has dropped its signature guitar-led tracks, instead opting for a new synthesizer sound. While it's a solid and thoughtful album, longtime fans may miss the kind of tunes that helped them to fall in love with Wye Oak in the first place. Even if the musical genre has changed, however, it's still impossible to not be impressed with the band's artistry.
