We've delved into the heart punk-poetess Patti Smith before, and because the time is right, we'd like to recommend her 1978 album, Easter ($9) to all loyal OB readers out there. In her third full release, Smith lets out her power and glory in epic proportions, while reigning in her noisy hardcore sensibility. A statement affirming the raw energy of feminist action, tracks such as "Because the Night" and "Till Victory" get us riled up to prove that the fairer sex doesn't have to be ladylike.
