Meiko
Meiko is a little bit folksy and a little bit poppy and we're a lot in love with her. At the risk of sounding cheesy, her lyrics really resonate with us (take, for example, the opening line to one of our fave songs, How Lucky We Are: 'One day we'll get out of this shitty apartment'), and her tunes get stuck in our heads. You may be starting to hear her on your local stations (if you actually listen to the radio), and her self-titled album ($11) is definitely worth picking up.
