You might remember Joan Osborne from such songs as "One of Us" and... well, really just "One of Us" (In all seriousness, the entirety of that '90s album, Relish, was great, regardless of whether the songs were all radio hits.) Nearly twenty years later, Osborne is still making music, and good music at that. Osborne's new release, Love and Hate ($9) appropriately grapples with the opposing feelings of love and hate, raising questions that are no less difficult than hypotheticals about God riding on the bus, trying to make his way home.
