Jewel: Sweet and Wild
We'll admit up front that Pieces of You was pretty much the soundtrack to our middle and high school years - damn, but we wanted to go to the original Lilith Festival! Thankfully, Jewel has left behind her vaguely disastrous 0304 days and returned to her roots with her latest release, Sweet and Wild ($10). It's a beautiful folksy, country-influenced set of songs perfect for chill summer afternoons. Grab a glass of lemonade (spiked, if you please), hit the hammock, and spend a lazy hour or two listening to this album. Ahhh.
