Our old iPod speaker system is finally reaching the end of the line. No matter which way we spin the volume dial, it gets louder. It's nothing more than we should expect from something we bought in 2008 for $30, but the neighbors are starting to get pissed off. We're not broke college students anymore, so we figure we'll replace it with something that will actually work as a part of our decor. This Crosley Ideco iPod Speaker Dock ($130) sounds fantastic, and, with its retro styling, looks even better.

Argh. They don't say if they have an iPhone5 compatible dock. The adapters are $40 (i bought one) but kinda suck because they're a 2inch long cable, so things don't so much dock as just lie on top of my dying dock.
