Bear Creek
Brandi Carlile's latest album, Bear Creek ($10), dropped last June, but if you haven't given it a listen yet, now's the time! It's full of earthy, bluegrass-influenced music that'll make you feel all one-with-the-land and woman-power-y. Okay, so we'll never get a gig writing music reviews for Rolling Stone. But we know good tunes when we hear them, and Bear Creek is certainly worth a twist of the volume knob. Turn it on, turn it up, and sing along!
