We never thought we'd say this, given all the pictures we saw of him in history books, but Henry VIII is yummy. Or, at least, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' masterful portrayal of him in The Tudors: The Complete Third Season ($25) makes him that way. It may not be historically accurate to not have him gain a couple hundred pounds and walk with a limp, but it's supremely watchable and immensely entertaining. In this season, Henry whips through three more wives (Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, and Catherine Howard) in just eight episodes, making for a whirlwind plotline that keeps you gripped. Of course, the amazingly detailed period costumes and stunning soundtrack don't hurt, either. Sigh... it's almost enough to make you wish corsets and panniers were back in fashion.
