Splendor in the Grass
Two things happened simultaneously to one of our editors the other day. She had this passage from a William Wordsworth poem stuck in her head, including the words "splendour in the grass." At that precise moment, another editor sent her a video of Natalie Woods as Gypsy Rose Lee. These two events got her to thinking about how Natalie Woods had starred in the movie Splendor in the Grass ($16). That got her thinking about how much she loved, loved, loved that movie, which got her to thinking about how much she wants to encourage any of her friends who've never seen this unbelievably beautiful love story to sit and watch it. Makes sense to us.
