PBS Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey
Wait, what? You haven't seen the PBS Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey ($17)?! Well get on it! Set in the early 1900's just-post the sinking of the Titanic, Downton Abbey centers around the Crawleys, a wealthy family and their servants whose lives are thrown in upheaval upon the death of the estate's heir. It's period drama and romance at its finest, with costumes and scenery to die for. The first season was an international success and the creators are promising a second season, to be set during World War I. Better brush up on the lives of Edwardian British elite before the new season starts later this year!
