This isn't the Love Story made famous by Ryan O'Neal and Ali MacGraw - This psychedelic-infused funk rock story is way cooler than that silly tearjerker. The Love Story Documentary ($34) exposes the behind-the-scenes lives of the five members of Love, an eclectic American rock group from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Led by singer Arthur Lee and Bryan MacLean, Love's music intermingled the sounds of different cultures, with borrowings from folk to jazz and everywhere in between. Their innovations were widely influential, so we have a new tenet: Love Story means never having to say you're sorry... for rocking hard and never looking back.
