Claire Danes has washed out her red Angela Chase hair dye and traded her oversized flannel shirt for a spiffy pant suit in Showtime's fast-paced political thriller Homeland: Season 1 ($29). Danes stars as Carrie Mathison, a CIA analyst in Iraq who receives a vague warning about a planned attack on American soil by a "turned" POW. The series begins with the discovery of Sgt. Nicholas Brody in Iraq, a POW believed to be dead for the last eight years. Brody returns as a war hero, but Mathison suspects something more sinister is at play. Without giving away too much, the series is filled with many unexpected twists and turns at nearly every opportunity. Who would have thought soft spoken Angela Chase would have made such a kick ass CIA agent?
