Broad City ($15) follows the lives of two twenty-something friends trying to navigate the Big Apple. If that sounds familiar, don't worry, Broad City is anything but.
While its depiction of female friendships and New York City apartments is more honest than its predecessors/contemporaries, the show is at its sharpest when conveying, not necessarily life as it is, but life as it feels. For better or for worse.
But most importantly? It's just flat out hilarious with an absurd and sweet sensibility that's all its own.
