Taking a toddler to the beach is akin to packing for a year-long trek into the Sahara Desert. You need to bring along a few gallons of sunscreen, floaties, a back-up pair of floaties, a change of clothes for both toddler and adult, beach umbrellas, chairs, blankets, food, water, towels, protective hats... the list just keeps going. Of course, a set of Zoë b Organic Beach Toys ($22) is also a necessity because once you've actually made it to the beach, you're going to need something to occupy the kiddo so you can have five minutes to pat yourself on the back for actually making it there in one piece.
